

TRĕK 2026 COMPETITOR ATTRIBUTES & TRAINING
TRĕK and TRĕK PRO competition tasks are specially designed to challenge competitors in all aspects of Land Rover. Product knowledge, physical challenges, off-road driving, vehicle recovery techniques, basic orienteering, and strategic thinking will be combined into the competition day.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, competitors will also need to complete the TRĕK Training Series in Excellence prior to competition arrival. Upon completion of the training and competition, competitors with a Client Experience job role will receive
Master Level Accreditation and Technicians will receive credit towards CPD.
To ensure competitors are prepared to successfully complete these tasks,every individual competing will need to meet the physical requirements outlined below:
Mandatory Attributes:

Over the Age of 21 with a valid Driver’s LicensePassport or REAL ID (Travel Purposes) Physical
Health Attributes
-
Able to run 2-3 miles
-
Able to paddle/steer a kayak 1 mile; plus be able to
swim fully clothed in the event you fall into the water

Able to pull, push, lift and carry 50+ lbs.

Able to move wood, remove and replace wheels/tires,and transport other vehicle-related equipment. This will require strength and the ability to lift heavy objects.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, competitors will also need to complete the TRĕK Training Series in Excellence prior to competition arrival. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
To best prepare you, please see a list of recommended
items to bring with you to the competition below:

Personal hygiene articles, including towel, baby wipes and any medications

Personal pillow for sleeping if preferred

Sturdy, durable, active footwear that works for running, biking, driving, etc. Must be closed toed shoes or hiking boots.

Extra high socks to tuck pants into to protect from ticks and poison ivy

Clean, dry travel clothing for return trip home

Any change of clothing you might want throughout the day such as dry socks and/or shoes

Rain gear - jacket and pants

A pair of work gloves

Sunscreen / sunglasses

Insect repellant
-
Day pack or small backpack (for use during the event)

Watch or phone with stopwatch function

Portable charger for phones and watches
