TRĕK EVENT & QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW
The Defender TRĕK competition will take place over 7 waves,
starting August 1st and concluding August 10, 2026*.

The Defender TRĕK PRO competition will take place over 3 waves starting August 10th and concluding August 14th, 2026. Below please find the Wave Schedule for both competitions.

Wave 8 PRO: August 10-12
Wave 9 PRO: August 11-13
Wave 10 PRO: August 12-14
Wave 1: August 1-3
Wave 2: August 2-4
Wave 3: August 3-5
Wave 4: August 4-6
Wave 5: August 5-7
Wave 6: August 8-10*
Wave 7: August 9-11*
All teams must have a minimum of 3 competitors and cannot exceed 4. Teams should be comprised of a blend of job roles across each retail location and can include participants from previous TRĕK competitions.
If a retailer is interested in sending a team to compete for TRĕK and TRĕK PRO, or multiple teams across various waves, they can submit for each and utilize the same competition vehicle for both.
TRĕK is open only to authorized Land Rover retailers in the US and Canada.
COST AND PARTICIPATION
For the 2026 competition, competing teams will be able to choose between bringing their own vehicle to TRĕK, or purchasing a competition vehicle from JLRNA.

ACCOMMODATIONS
On the second evening of the competition, all competitors will stay at The Junto Hotel - Columbus’s independent lifestyle hotel located just across the river from Downtown.
Each team will be provided with 2 Classic Two Queen rooms, shared between teammates. Those who prefer a private room may contact support@defendertrek.com to book at the JLR rate, with all additional costs the responsibility of the individual retailer.
Upon arrival, competitors should check in at the Belle Street Gallery, located beside the hotel’s main entrance, where TReK signage will be displayed to guide you.
TRĕK 2026 COMPETITION WINNERS
During the September 2026 Monthly Retailer Connect, the 2026 TRĕK and TRĕK PRO Competition winners will be announced!
The teams with the top 3 scores across each set of competition waves will be announced, with the team with the top score being named the 2026 TRĕK and TRĕK PRO competition winners.
The winning teams will be invited to attend Destination Defender at Galway Downs in Temecula, CA in September 2026, where they will be highlighted and receive their award during the Defender Service Awards Gala.
JLRNA to cover flights, onsite meals and accommodations for the winning team. Winning team responsible for transportation from the airport to Galway Downs.
